James was dumb founded by what he saw on television. Earlier that night, Devon texted him to watch LOL because she and the rest of the GV Crew were the guests. Sam and Devon standing so close with each other. It made him feel like sick. He was about to turn the TV off but his conscience ceased him. “After all, I promised her to watch it, and besides, I love to watch her on TV.”, he said to himself. After several minutes, he found himself staring at the television, waiting for the cameraman to focus on the only girl of the group. Then came the moment when Devon had to receive the regaLOL. “If only I was there.”, he said when he heard Devon saying, “Guys, tulungan niyo naman ako.”, with matching sad face. Suddenly, he was surprised and felt jealous when Sam stood up and volunteered to receive the regaLOL instead of Devon. “How I wish I was there.”, he then said again to himself. Then he saw how grateful Devon was when Sam “rescued” her. He’s laughing at his reaction, he was grateful too that he was gentleman enough to sacrifice for Devon. But then again, he was jealous because he wasn’t able to help her beloved. The show ended. He wants to text Devon but he stopped himself. He’ll just wait for a day that he will meet up with her.
Days later, he received a text message from his RM that he will have a guesting at Happy Yippee Yehey on April 2 together with some GV Crew. “Who will be with me?”, he replied. Minutes later, his RM replied, “Devon, Aaron, Ivan and Sam”. His face lit up for seconds but then he read the last name registered on the screen. “Why is he always included?”, he said to himself. Then his conscience replied, “It’s because he plays the main role on GV.” He frowned at the idea.
The day he had been waiting for came. He arrived 10 minutes earlier than the said call-time. He then searched for the beautiful face he’s been longing to see for how many days, but she’s not yet around.
Ivan: Hey dude! (smiled and tapped him on his shoulder)
James: Dude. (tapped Ivan too)
Ivan: I noticed you’ve been looking for someone. (flash a suspicious look)
James: What are you talking about?
Ivan: Nothing.
Aaron: Uy, nandito na pala kayo!
James&Ivan: Hi dude.
Aaron: Kayo pa lang? Akala ko nandito na si Sam.
James: I arrived first.
Ivan: Yeah, nasan na kaya si Little Devs?
Aaron: Baka naman magkasama ang Samvon ngayon?
Ivan elbowed Aaron slightly on what he said. Aaron looked at him and figured out what he was trying to say.
Aaron: O James! Joke lang yun ah. (laughed awkwardly) Comfort room muna ako.
When Aaron left, Ivan tapped James’ shoulder.
Ivan: It’s okay to cry dude. (laugh)
James: Crazy, why should I?
Ivan: Don’t deny it. Oh! They’re here!
Sam: Hey Dudes. (tap on shoulder)
Ivan&James: Hey. (nod and tap)
Devon: Hi guys! (smiled sweetly and sat beside James)
Ivan: Did you arrive together?
Sam: Yeah, I saw her waiting for a cab so I decided to give her a ride.
James: Oh, I see. (looked at Devon)
Devon: What’s with that look? (she whispered to James)
James: Nothing.
Devon: What’s his problem now?
James: They arrived together. James! Stay calm.
Aaron went back and the staff called them, it’s time to play. They really enjoyed the game and James forgot what he’s feeling. After the show, a staff asked them to take a picture with her. The staff hugged Devon, he saw Sam automatically positioned himself beside Devon.
The staff asked James after she saw the picture.
Staff: James, why aren’t you smiling?
James: Just not feeling well. (smiled weakly)
Ivan: I think I know why. (smiled)
Sam: Are you okay dude?
James: Yeah, maybe I just need rest.
Devon: Are you sure?
James: Yeah.
They exchanged their goodbyes.
Sam: Devs, do you want a ride? I can drop you off.
Devon: Don’t mind me Sam, James will take me home. (smiled)
James face lit up.
Sam: Okay! Bye! Bye James!
James: Bye dude. (smiled)
They were walking on the hallway when James stopped.
James: Can we talk for awhile?
Devon: That’s exactly I wanna do right now, talk to you.
James: About the LOL guesting.
Devon: Oh, so I was right all along.
James: Why so stand so close to him? When Aaron received his regalol. You stand so close to him.
Devon: James, it’s nothing.
James: Are you sure?
Devon: So sure! Stop being jealous okay? (held his face)
James: How about the ride? You could’ve texted me.
Devon: I don’t want to bother you.
James: You know it’s nothing for me. I would do anything for you, you know that.
Devon: Okay I’m sorry. Forgive me now? Please?
James: Okay, you know I can’t stay mad at you. I love you so much Devs, and you know how protective I am of you.
Devon: It’s okay, I understand. Don’t worry, I’m not gonna do that again. I love you too James, that’s why I can’t stand to see you sad.
James: Another thing, why aren’t you communicating for days? I’m so sad that time. (pout his lips and put a sad face)
Devon: Oh about that, you know I’m so busy with the tapings. I’m so sorry. (hugged James)
James can’t help to smile when she hugged him; she really knows how to please him. He still acted he’s mad. He didn’t hugged Devon back.
Devon: Awww, James! I’m sorry. (hugged him tight when she noticed he’s not hugging her back)
She then heard him laugh. Devon let go and looked at him.
Devon: What’s funny?
James: You. You know I can’t stay mad at you right? (still laughing)
Devon: But you’re mad at me.
James: No I’m not. (smiled)
Devon: Promise? (smiled sweetly)
James: Promise! (flashed his sweet smile too)
James: I love you girlfriend! (stared at her and smiled)
Devon: I love you too boyfriend! (smiled)
James: I love you girlfriend! (stared at her and smiled)
Devon: I love you too boyfriend! (smiled)
Then they left the premises holding each other’s hand with a smile on their faces.
